Braw Talent Workshop - Hollywood Pitch (P7+)

This 120-minute workshop is an introduction to movie making. Working in small groups pupils will create a microfilm on iPads using only 5 shots. We will explore the basics of building character and story, learn about shot sizes and how they help communicate a story, highlight top tips when filming on mobile devices, as well as covering some editing techniques within iMovie (free to access software).
The maximum capacity of these workshops is 20 pupils and 1 teacher. Schools will need to bring iPads with them to the session (a minimum of 1 iPad between 4 pupils). Before arriving please ensure there is enough battery and memory on iPads to make a microfilm.
